Over 100 000 ord!

I går kveld passerte manus 100 000 ord. Dessuten tok plottet en uventet retning, så plutselig ble det behov for noen kapitler til. Endelig kjente jeg langt ned i magen at jeg fant det der helt spesielle i historien. Eller – det har jo vært der – men endelig falt det ordentlig på plass.

Det er en merkelig følelse. For jeg har jo ikke egentlig peiling. Og jeg er fullstendig blind for egen tekst. Det ene øyeblikket synes jeg det er bra. Det neste er det helt elendig.

Men det er også helt ok. Førsteutkastet skal bare skrives ut. SÅ begynner jobben.

Og akkurat nå er alt det der likegyldig. Akkurat nå er jeg i over-hundretusen-ord-rus!

Og selv om jeg vet at dette er et førsteutkast og kommer til å endre seg MYE – både i innhold og volum – ble jeg fristet til å lete litt på internett etter hvor lange noen av verdens bøker egentlig er.

Dette er det ikke bare jeg som har lurt på og jeg fant flere oversikter.

Bare for å ha understreket en gang for alle. Det er INGEN – overhodet INGEN – sammenligning forøvrig! Dette handler bare om ordtelling!
